Our herdshare gives you priority access to fresh, nutrient-dense raw milk. Unlike store-bought milk, our raw milk retains its natural enzymes, probiotics, and beneficial bacteria — making it easier to digest and more nourishing for your family.
What is a Herdshare?
Herdshares are the legal pathway to receiving raw milk in Michigan and other states. Herdshare boarding contracts are private agreements between individuals who collectively own the animals in a dairy herd and the farmer hired to manage that herd.
When you purchase shares in a dairy herd and sign a boarding contract to pay for the care and management of your portion of the herd, you are entitled to receive a corresponding amount of the herd’s milk production. Buying into a herdshare should not be done casually and requires an ongoing commitment to the herd, the farmer hired to manage the herd, and the other shareholders.

We’ll text/email you each week before we bottle. You’ll have until the week’s cutoff time (24 hours before your scheduled order) to add extras to your order or to notify us if you need to skip that week at no charge.
We understand that life gets busy! Every week, you'll receive a text message/email alert before we bottle, with the option to “skip” up to 24 hours before your scheduled order to opt out of the week's order at no charge.
Yes! Herdshare members get priority access to fresh eggs, local meats, and other goods from our trusted partners.
We package our milk in glass bottles. Each family is responsible for keeping their bottle clean. If jars are returned dirty, a cleaning fee will be charged.
